We continue to enhance the Talentis platform at pace. In the last month or so, most of the visual updates have related to our new “Quick Search” feature.
To remind you, this is an entirely new search service that finds candidates from a database of over 800 million profiles. This new data source contains candidate profiles pulled from more than a dozen different public platforms, and so you’ll often find candidates who are not coming up on LinkedIn.
The first version of this wasn’t quite right, but we’ve made changes – including a complete redesign of the UI – and we have more enhancements on the way, including further flexibility on search. We appreciate the positive feedback we received on the first round on enhancements, and we are excited by what’s coming!
Remember, the Quick Search feature is optimized around finding people based on their name or where they work (i.e. target companies) – so it’s terrific for market mapping.
Our traditional search tool (now known as “Advanced Search”) remains the go-to service for more advanced keyword searching. The technology and data in that area of the platform is entirely proprietary and unique to Talentis!
We continue to deepen our records to allow you to store more data – most recently, adding salary and package type data to people records – and we are making it easier to get data out – our market map reports now contain bio info for example (and allow you to take advantage of our AI bio writing facility).
Coming soon is a new export feature which will allow you to export assignment data and more.
We’ve added a variety of new parsing options. You could already parse a resume into the record – and now, you are able to parse virtually any executive bio in virtually any language into a Talentis profile – with virtually no data entry (thanks OpenAI!) – check the video below:
You’ll also be able to create a record directly by simply entering a social URL – we’ll convert 800 million social URLs to a populated record in seconds. That should all arrive in July.
We are making it easier to contact people by replacing our contact information supplier with a new partner which promises (and delivers) far superior results. This should also be live in July.
Beyond that, our big priority is “internal search” to allow you to search through your own contacts. That work has begun and should arrive at the end of the summer.
Thanks for your support – Enjoy Talentis!
Best regards,
The Talentis team
