Once again, we’ve got plenty to report on the Talentis front. We delivered a lot in August and expect to see significant additional developments in the coming days…
As always, a lot of the work we do is under the hood. However, among the more visible changes you’ll see next time you login (or imminently…):
We’ve redesigned the assignment record. You’ll now have more space available for your candidate lists, with the side bar information moved to a separate tab. We’ve added additional fields and we have more to follow.
An example of this is “assignment ownership” (which team members own or are part of the team on any particular assignment), which will be helpful for navigating directly to your assignments – you’ll also see we’ve also given you the opportunity to start recording financial data (fees, salaries, etc) and this will all be used alongside the ownership information to support KPI reporting later. And, yes, we’re adding the client logo to the Assignment record!
In prerelease is a redesign of the Person record. Again, it’s about streamlining your experience and giving you the ability to store the key data you require. We’ve also made it possible for you to manually update data on a person’s profile if their LinkedIn profile is out of date (and, don’t worry, any edits you make are only available to you and your colleagues!). Feedback welcomed.
We’re evaluating interest in the ability to post jobs to GatedTalent and LinkedIn and have added a very basic job upload feature to the Assignment record. We’ve mentioned this previously, but if you are not sure what’s involved, please speak to your Client Success Manager. It’s been well received so far, and so we are likely to enhance the functionality further. Give it a go!
We know how annoying it is when you find “the perfect candidate” – only to discover much later that they’re off limits! We’re adding the ability to make individual people or entire organizations “off limits” and you’ll see this immediately when you view a person or company record – in search results, in an assignment, or anywhere else.
Talking about “finding the perfect candidate” – we’re adding the ability to find similar candidates based on a template. So, if Jane Smith is ideal but not available, we’ll show you candidates who share similar characteristics with Jane. Again, we use OpenAI (the technology behind ChatGPT) along with our own, proprietary, tech to deliver this.
If you find a good candidate but can’t reach them, finding mutual connections is often really useful. We’ll soon be adding “former employees” to the company record to help you make exactly these connections (and, yes, it’s all automatic. No typing!).
We’re doing a big project with our data pool. This will take several months to deliver but will allow us to offer even more search filters and will improve search speed (we are aware of occasional slowdowns on the platform when it is under heavy load – this should mitigate that), but please do keep in mind that we are searching across 559M profiles – that’s a lot of data!
We are pleased to announce that we are hosting the World Executive Search Congress, which takes place virtually on October 17 & 18 – full details here.
We have a host of speakers from in and around the search industry, and they’ll discuss everything from business development to search firm branding. We are particularly delighted that our very own – CengO Steve Hammond – will be hosting a panel discussion on AI and Digital Transformation – he’ll be joined by representatives from Heidrick & Struggles, Amazon, Kestria and Unique.
Great news for Talentis clients: Reserve your space for just US$99 as opposed to the standard price of US$135. Contact your Client Success Manager to ask for the promo code.
If you are switching to Talentis from another platform, we now offer a contact import service. Speak to your Client Success Manager to learn more. We also offer custom reporting – again, please speak to your CSM!
Thanks for your continued support!
