Welcome to the October edition of the Talentis newsletter!
As always, we’ll start with a quick round up of what’s been delivered over the past month or so:
Search improvements
We’ve updated our initial OpenAI search and added a new one – Similar People. The latter can be run from within a search screen, from a candidate list or inside a person record. It builds a template search based on what we know about the chosen template candidate and their employment. The user can then edit that template before clicking search – and finding comparable candidates that might otherwise have been missed.
Assignment record improvements
The revamp continues. We now have far more fields, company logos and the ability to track assignment ownership and team members. You can also filter assignments based on ownership (as well as status, etc.)
We’ve made a series of subtle enhancements and improvements – for example, streamlining what happens when you change an assignment name or company.
Company record improvements
We now show current and former employees on the “known employees” screen (via a toggle).
We’ve added the ability to set a company as “off limits” and provide a reason and an end date. This is a precursor to…

Off Limits
Setting a company to “off limits” will make employees off limits. This may be overridden at the employee level.
Individual employees may also be set as off limits.
Off limits will be visible from people records, search screens, candidate lists and so on.
More OpenAI
We’ll soon be offering the ability to automatically re-write candidate bios. This will take the original candidate profile from LinkedIn, convert it to your chosen language, rewrite it in the third person and standardize the length and format.
More Company record improvements
We’ll show the most recent note associated with any current company employee from within the known employee screen.
Ownership functionality (similar to that already seen on the assignment record) will appear on the Company record.
You’ll be able to edit information inherited from the TalentGraph.
