We’ve made a number of significant changes to Talentis “under the bonnet” in January and users will see the benefit of these changes down the track. However, there are a couple of active features we released last month that are available for use now. These include:
We know users love our ability to add candidates directly from LinkedIn (or Google!) with a single click. However, we also know that’s not always possible – sometimes, the Chrome extension may not be available (on mobile, for example), or you may not have immediate access to a person’s LinkedIn profile. As a result, we’ve added the ability for users to retrospectively link to the TalentGraph. Simply create a local record and then, later, add a LinkedIn URL via the “Link to TalentGraph” button. Talentis will download all of the available information about the person and you’ll have a fully populated record.
We know many of our users use Talentis to manage the entire executive search process, and this means that they want to quickly and easily view and update candidate progress (etc) from across the Web. This has been available from within Google and LinkedIn since launch (via the Chrome Extension); we are delighted to say that it is now possible from within Outlook as well. Our next generation Outlook Add-in supports both the Windows and Mac version of Outlook and allows users to add a candidate to a search from within Outlook, see the relationship with that candidate and update that relationship.
To install the Add-in, login to Talentis and click this link: https://app.talentis.global/outlook.
In the next month or so, you’ll see more functionality associated with our Word Add-in and more features inside Outlook. We are also making some major enhancements to the web app – more on that next month!
Thanks for your support!
