We’ve delivered a lot in the last month, and it just keeps coming:
We released our first integration with OpenAI (the engine behind ChatGPT). This allows users to type a query in free text “CFO for a SaaS company” and have AI build the search screen automatically. We are continually fine tuning the query on this and so it will be getting better and better. We’ll soon be launching an additional AI integration – a new “Find Similar People” feature. If you find the perfect candidate (or perhaps the former employee you are seeking to replace), we’ll use ChatGPT plus our own extensive and proprietary data to suggest similar candidates. We’re very excited by this!
Talentis now displays far more information about candidates, including their entire career history – automatically. As soon as you add any candidate to an assignment, you’ll see this information appear. This is part of a major change to how we present person data – this will continue to be delivered over coming weeks – you’ll see we’ve just updated the contact data area as part of this.
More improvements here. As soon as you add a person to a Campaign or Assignment, we create a record for their employer and their previous employers. For major companies, we draw down additional data including company logos, specialties etc, directly from the TalentGraph. No typing! You can now also update a manually created company to link it to the TalentGraph “after the fact” – useful for any older records you may have; again, this will download all of the data referenced above. By “Major Companies”, we currently mean c20M organizations – but we are adding to that over the summer!
We’ve now added automatic logging of emails on Send. Don’t forget, our Add-in for Outlook works on Windows and Macs!
In addition to our next AI integration, we will be rolling out further enhancements to the People, Company and Assignment records. The first of these will be the ability to see “former employees” of a company. Again, this will appear automatically – no data entry! It will allow you to view a company and see anyone formerly at that firm and with whom your business has previously engaged with (as opposed to hundreds of random people who just happen to have worked there!). We believe this will be really useful for sourcing, referencing and business development. We’re also prioritizing “Assignment ownership” to make it easier to find your assignments among those of your colleagues.
We know most of our clients don’t advertise. Some do, but the majority rely exclusively on a search process. We had a thought, however. What if you could advertise selected positions for free? Let’s find out!
As you may know, a sister product of Talentis is GatedTalent. GatedTalent is a service that helps executives in their career planning – the team offers everything from LinkedIn profile optimization and resume writing to interview coaching. We’re adding a job board and any Talentis client will be able to post a job for free. Selected jobs may also be anonymized and then promoted on LinkedIn (at no cost to your firm). Any applications will be sent to your jobsite if you have one, or to an email address provided by you if you don’t.
At launch, there is limited integration between Talentis and GatedTalent – you’ll see a button on your Assignment area and clicking this will take you to a form where you can complete the details of your role. If successful, we’ll provide a more integrated solution.
October 17-18: The return of the World Executive Search Congress! We’re bringing together some of the leading thought leaders in and around executive search to speak at this new, online event. Talentis clients get discounted rates. Full details to follow very, very soon….!
As always, thanks for supporting Talentis!
