Architect, Design and Implement Elasticsearch solutions for various use cases with Cyber Data Sets. Automate manual and repetitive tasks to ensure seamless operations and deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Elasticsearch performance, data quality, and data consistency. Ensure Elasticsearch security and compliance with data protection regulations. Work with technical analysts as well as data security subject matter experts to bridge policy and implement their requirements. Generate and understand cybersecurity coverage metrics derived from a high volume of network and host-based log data. Analyze results using technical knowledge to constantly improve metrics analytic output and reporting. Work closely with partner organizations to understand analytic requirements and translate complex problems and requirements into workable policies and solutions.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $20700 and $217000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Elasticsearch Architecture; Elasticsearch Engineering; Elasticsearch Deployments; Python programming; Java; Scala Programming; Data analysis; Scripting; Continuous Integration and Deployment; Bigdata Hadoop Ecosystem – HDFS; Hive; HBase; Spark; Ambari; Yarn; Map Reduce; Apache Phoenix; Zookeeper; Apache NiFi; Gitlab; and Jenkins.
Requires three (3) years of experience with: PostgreSQL; MySQL; SVN; Microsoft Visual Studio Code; Windows; UNIX; LINUX; Kubernetes; Grafana; and Prometheus.
Requires two (2) years of experience with: MS SQL Server2005/08.
