About The Role
The VP, Product Management for LoopNet will lead a team of talented product managers and designers as well as partner with Product Development, Marketing and Sales. Defining the product vision, the VP of Product Management will continuously evolve existing offerings, producing innovative enhancements and valuable new features to meet the needs of our customers, reflect industry trends, and further differentiate LoopNet, as the world leading Commercial Real Estate digital marketing platform, from our competitors.
In Addition, The Role Will Encompass The Following
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps, using market research, industry knowledge and focus groups to align user needs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product innovation and evolution.
- Product Development & Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and designers, providing guidance and support to accomplish company goals,
- Establish and maintain effective product management processes and frameworks.
- Deploy Agile methodologies to deliver product enhancements in three-week sprint cycles to drive innovation, and quickly adapt to changes in the digital landscape and market trends in North America and internationally.
- Deliver a high quality, modern, best in class user experience across all surfaces
- Customer Focus:
- Drive a customer-centric culture within the product organization, ensuring that all decisions are informed by user insights.
- Track and measure key performance indicators and business metrics to drive customer-centric product solutions.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, partnering with Engineering/Technology, Sales, and Marketing and gathering user feedback to continuously improve and optimize the user experience.
- Identify and address areas of potential user drop off.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability, as they execute the product roadmap.
- Effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Foster a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the product among team members.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with business goals and secure necessary resources.
- Represent the company and its products at industry events and conferences.
Candidate Experience & Skills
- 12+ years of experience in a digital product role.
- Experience working within Commercial Real Estate, Prop Tech, CRE Tech.
- Experience working in digital marketplace businesses.
- Exceptional analytic and technical skills with strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling technically complex, innovative products.
- Experience leading product management teams and translating business strategy into customer facing products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to translate conceptual ideas into products.
- Experience partnering and collaborating across functional teams to reach goals
- Analytically driven.
- Proven track record of driving results and adhering to deadlines.
- Passion for Commercial Real Estate.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit college or university in computer science, product management, busiess, or related fields required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Track record of commitment to previous employers.
