About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Wellness, Sustainability, and Sports Nutrition to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative programming that aligns with the company’s vision and mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic approach to wellness, sports nutrition, sustainability, and education, and will oversee a team dedicated to these initiatives. This role requires a passionate individual with a Master’s degree in nutrition or a related field, who is a credentialed Registered Dietitian and licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in food service, particularly in the K-12 sector, is preferred, along with a strong background in performance nutrition and professional CSSD certification.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President include providing thought leadership, managing partnerships, and ensuring the integrity of wellness programming through site visits and the implementation of relevant policies. The role is highly collaborative, working with various internal and external stakeholders, and demands a leader with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven track record in large group public speaking and training. The ideal candidate will have a background in leadership within the nutrition industry, be adept at managing food allergen and dietary restriction programs, and be committed to the company’s mission of nourishing a brighter future. The position is remote with a significant travel requirement and is pivotal in the company’s efforts to set the standard for wellness and sustainability in the communities it serves.
