Key Responsibilities:
- Capital Raising & Business Development: Proactively identify and target a curated group of potential investors and consultants within the U.S. to raise new capital and expand the firm’s market presence.
- Brand Communication: Articulate the firm’s brand and effectively communicate relevant and accurate information about our products and services, demonstrating a strong understanding of fund performance and qualitative details.
- Market Strategy & Tracking: Enhance systems and processes to identify new market opportunities and effectively track both existing and prospective investors and consultants.
- Client Relationship Management: Provide ongoing, high-quality client support, including drafting responses to inquiries, developing institutional-grade marketing materials (RFPs, DDQs), and creating tailored client presentations.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with Fund Administration, Operations, Investments, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables for current and prospective clients and consultants.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record of playing a significant role in successful fundraising campaigns within the institutional alternative investment space. You possess an established network and a passion for building strong, lasting relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience within asset management or investment banking.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of direct private equity Investor/Client Relations experience.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with a collaborative and engaging interpersonal style.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
