About the Role

We’re recruiting for the best Strategy Director role in Adland.

This role is to work on one of the greatest accounts in the world, KFC, and will suit a seasoned Strategy Director with Retail, QSR, Telco or Banking experience. As well as someone who is obsessed with finding culturally dialled in ways to drive brand relevance.

This candidate would shape strategic and creative thinking, working closely with the Head of Strategy, Creative Teams, and Creative Group Heads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead own portfolio of clients and support the Head of Strategy in designing, implementing and measuring strategies to develop a client’s business and their brands
  • Independently identify deep cultural, societal and consumer insights and tensions via conducting and/or analysing quantitative and qualitative research
  • Inspire creative teams to develop comms that directly address client’s problems, via a clearly defined brief
  • Be a trusted strategic advisor for clients with competence, conviction, and confidence.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic agencies initiatives, including research, thought-leadership and the development of IP

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Strategy role within an agency
  • Strong and engaging presentation skills
  • Ability to build on existing client relationships as well as create new ones.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise
  • Passion for world-class creative work, and experience in helping to develop it
  • Ability to work well both within a team, and autonomously – happy to take on your own portfolio of clients
  • Knowledge within the retail, QSR, Telco or Banking Industries
