Summary
This position directs and coordinates Company-wide investigations and is responsible for the direct management of OPR Directors and staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Pro-actively identifies areas for process improvement. Initiates and leads business process strategy.
• Serves as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that investigative reports are formatted, grammatically correct, and investigative approach is sound.
• Provides second-level reviews for select investigative cases.
• Analyzes and edits investigative reports of findings; briefs executive staff on the statistical data.
• Oversees the administration of the OPR database system designed to capture and retain staff misconduct and case information to identify patterns of misconduct, fraud, or mismanagement.
• Assists in developing and providing new reports of investigatory data for senior management.
• Provides supervision of Investigative Directors, Senior OPR Specialist, and OPR Technician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related discipline. A graduate degree in a legal field or specific investigative training is preferred.
• Ten (10) years’ experience in criminal justice, law or law office management. Ten (10) years’ experience in a related field may be substituted.
• Superior writing and editing skills with the ability to expedite finalization of written reports and as required, executive briefings. Experience with legal research preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of investigative procedures, employee rights and responsibilities, handling of evidence, questioning strategies, legal considerations and ethics.
• Superior communication skills with the ability to articulate investigative findings properly in written reports and executive briefings.
• Strong leadership skills with experience involving the management of professional staff.
• Experience with MS Office and Google software suite.
• Ability to travel.
