Senior Account Director

JDP have partnered with a leading digital agency to secure a Senior Account Director. As the Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships, driving growth, and providing strategic direction.

The Senior Account Director is accountable for the retention and growth of existing accounts as well as the acquisition of new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively investing in promoting the brand through digital channels and networking events
  • Developing and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key clients
  • Leading the planning and execution of account strategies to provide ROI to clients and support account growth
  • Identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Identifying, pitching, and closing new prospective client accounts
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs

Tasks:

  • Oversee assigned client works, ensuring smooth operation within budget constraints
  • Coordinate account check-ins and reviews with clients
  • Lead strategic discussions with assigned clients, understanding their business models to identify needs, risks, and opportunities
  • Utilise your professional network to attract and secure new opportunities when appropriate
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals with professionalism
  • Identify, contribute to, and at times lead Tender and RFP responses as needed
  • Ensure all data for assigned opportunities remains accurate and up to date
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures and external regulations

Must Haves:

  • Current Australian resident, unfortunately Sponsorship isn’t an option
  • Approximately 4-6 years’ experience working in a similar role in the digital space.
  • Extensive knowledge in website development, web applications, content management systems, digital marketing strategy, digital performance measurement, and the software development lifecycle.
