About The Role
As the Sales Director- Mexico, you will take the helm in driving BSI’s sales growth and expanding our market presence in Mexico and Spanish-speaking LATAM. Your strategic leadership will be key in developing and executing high-impact sales strategies to secure new business, foster long-term relationships, and position BSI as a trusted advisor within the certification industry.
In this leadership role, you’ll manage a dynamic sales team, oversee complex sales cycles, and ensure alignment with BSI’s overall goals, all while ensuring customer satisfaction and expanding our client base.
In Your Day-to-day, You Will Be Responsible For
- Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Drive sales growth by developing and executing effective go-to-market strategies, acquiring new clients, and building on relationships across Mexico and the LATAM region. Capitalize on high-growth industries and verticals to expand market share.
- Strategic Leadership & Resource Allocation: Provide strong leadership by developing region-specific sales strategies that address market dynamics. Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to align with market potential and organizational priorities.
- Sales Team Development & Coaching: Lead and mentor a high-performing, diverse sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure team members exceed their sales targets.
- Client & Market Engagement: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior-level clients, positioning BSI as their trusted advisor. Lead by example in client engagement, representing BSI at meetings, events, and conferences.
- Operational Excellence & GTM Strategies: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies, working closely with marketing, operations, and training teams to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly and client outcomes are achieved.
- Sales Performance & Target Achievement: Set clear performance metrics, regularly assess team performance, and ensure targets are met. Optimize sales processes and improve operational efficiency to increase team productivity.
- Innovation & Future Anticipation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging market opportunities. Foster innovation within the team to ensure BSI remains competitive and can adapt quickly to new market demands.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with at least 7 years managing strategic accounts and leading sales teams.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth through strategic planning, consultative sales, and cultivating long-term client relationships.
- Expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and optimizing sales resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior clients and stakeholders, utilizing strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools to drive sales performance and decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mexican and LATAM markets, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and regional business dynamics.
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English is a must.
