Job Description

  • Sales and Business Development Strategy: *
  • Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies that align with company goals, focusing on market expansion within India and the MENA region. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing industry contacts and forging new connections within target industries. Market Penetration: * Leverage existing contacts and develop new connections within industries like oil & gas, chemicals, and power to introduce our products and capture market share. * Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market presence and product reach. L
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales and business development team, fostering a high-performance culture. * Provide training and development to enhance the team’s technical understanding and sales skills. Customer Relations and Engagement: * Manage the entire customer engagement cycle from initial contact through negotiations to sale closure. * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Technical Sales Support: *
  • Utilize in-depth technical knowledge of our products to assist the sales team in effectively communicating product specifications and advantages to potential customers. * Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process.
  • Market and Industry Analysis: *
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and identify potential new markets and products. * Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
  • Sales Goals Achievement:
  • Set, meet, and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. * Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and updates to senior management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: *
  • Collaborate closely with design, production, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and production capabilities. * Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: * 10 -15 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the industrial manufacturing sector. Industry Knowledge: * Strong understanding of and contacts within the oil & gas, power, chemicals, fertilizers, metals, and water treatment industries. Regional Expertise: * Proven track record of expanding sales and business operations in India and the MENA region. Leadership Skills: * Demonstrated experience in leading sales teams with the ability to recruit, inspire, train, and motivate employees. Communication Skills: * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English. Arabic language skills are a plus. Technical Proficiency: * Technical acumen to understand detailed product specifications and their applications in various industries
