This strategic initiative aims to transition from SAP ECC6 to a more sustainable future state, modernising and optimising the technical foundation of the organisation’s core ERP system. The goal is to ensure that the ERP remains robust and up to date, aligning with evolving technological standards and organisational needs. This transformation program will not only replace outdated systems but also enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of critical business processes. Your new role As the Program Director for the SAP Transformation Program, you will lead the successful delivery of this comprehensive initiative. Working closely with the capabilities responsible for developing the project pipeline, you will leverage your expertise in professional development to identify, justify financially and economically, and strategically plan the program’s execution. A critical aspect of this role is cultivating and sustaining relationships with stakeholders to secure support and effectively manage the program’s delivery. You will be responsible for project planning, including defining strategy, activities, timelines, budgets, compliance parameters, and risk management strategies. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the success and impact of the SAP Transformation Program through meticulous planning, strong leadership, and stakeholder engagement. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and relevant certifications in SAP and project management. Over 5 years of extensive Program Management experience, specialising in technology implementation projects, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies. Extensive expertise in SAP implementation and project management, specialising in SAP S/4HANA. Demonstrated success leading full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation/upgrade projects end-to-end. In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices and principles. Proven experience engaging in steering committee meetings and interfacing with C-level executives. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. Robust financial proficiency, including project budget management.
