As a Principal SQA Engineer, you’ll bring a “Get it Done” and “Do it Right” attitude, combined with a passion for quality, diligence, and thoroughness. Your expertise in the entire product development lifecycle will help deliver high-quality solutions using advanced tools and processes.
You’ll need a deep understanding of complex Cloud solution use cases, including managing upgrades, automation, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

- Take charge of ensuring top-notch quality by establishing robust checks, controls, and processes to prevent regressions and defects.
- Build and maintain robust automation infrastructures that empower developers to deliver high-quality code efficiently.
- Work closely with the R&D team, Product Managers, and QA members to craft test strategies and deliver comprehensive test coverage for cutting-edge features.
- Automate new test cases, enhance existing ones, and optimize regression testing for efficiency and stability.
- Guide and mentor QA and automation engineers, shaping the team’s technical growth and contributing to overall product excellence.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth integration, seamless upgrades, and well-planned dependencies for each release.
- Participate in release planning, scrums, and retrospectives to drive success in an Agile environment.
- Lead designated projects with accountability for functionality, quality, and timeliness.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 12+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience in product development.
- 5+ years developing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Java.
- Proficient in Selenium, Java, Grails, Gradle, Groovy, and Postgres DB.
- Skilled in managing automation frameworks, regression suites, and resolving automation issues.
- Strong knowledge of code coverage tools and testing customer-reported bugs/issues.
- Expertise in scalable application design principles and testing approaches.
- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, virtual teams, and version control systems like Git.
- Hands-on with CI/CD processes, scripting, and tools like Jenkins.
- Proficient with container-based applications (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift) and maintaining Helm charts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP).
- Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
Whilst these are nice to have, the team can help you develop in the following skills:
- Test Automation experience, Scripting skills (preferably Robot Framework, Rexx, Python etc.)
- Performance testing (Scalability, benchmarking, Load) frameworks, such as JMeter, etc.
- Good to have Mainframe knowledge (Z/OS JCL).
