Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Oversee key client accounts, building and nurturing relationships to ensure a deep understanding of business objectives.
- Develop Communication Structures: Take ownership of strategic briefs, distilling key objectives, and guiding Planning and Investment teams to create impactful campaigns.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with insights, technology, and effectiveness divisions to develop comprehensive strategies that drive results.
- Contribute to Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, contribute to thought leadership initiatives, and participate in award-winning papers and events.
- Drive New Business: Play a crucial role in new business efforts, enhancing agency revenue and establishing a reputation as a change-maker within the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in media planning.
- Previous experience in a strategically focused role within the media sphere.
- Account Director or equivalent level of experience.
- Demonstrable experience in media planning and buying.
- Expert understanding of channel and technology interactions and how these can create strategic opportunities for clients.
- In-depth knowledge of industry topics and research, including campaign case studies and seminal marketing effectiveness studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of being a trusted advisor and handling difficult conversations.
