Party Crew Chief (EA Drainage) –

Labor Grade 118 / Pay Range: $27.25 – $38.42

SUMMARY

The Party Crew Chief works under the direct supervision of Assistant Director, Public Works, and is responsible for the organization, efficiency, and accuracy of work performed and data obtained.

MAJOR DUTIES

· Gathers survey data using GPS and other tools

· Analyzes legal documents, plats, and plans

· Prepares reports, drafts reports, descriptions and other documentation

· Preparing maps that accurately describe the field survey

· Presents findings to relevant groups or individuals

· Monitors and maintains the survey equipment

· Performs survey calculations

· Any other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent is requiredand (3) years of directly related experience

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS – CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

· The incumbent is required to have a current, and the ability to maintain, state of Louisiana driver’s license

· The incumbent is subject to a pre-employment physical and drug screens with random drug testing thereafter
