The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Paid Media leader (Director or exceptional Senior Manager ready to step up) to take a pivotal role in shaping client success and team growth. You will lead a client portfolio, acting as the senior strategic advisor. Crucially, this role demands a leader who remains deeply connected to the platforms (Paid Search/Social); you understand that true strategic insight comes from knowing how things actually work ‘on the tools’. You’ll balance high-level client relationship management and strategy with ensuring executional excellence, spending significant time ensuring platform performance aligns with goals. You Will:

  • Act as the client lead and senior strategic advisor for a portfolio of performance-focused accounts.
  • Develop, oversee, and ensure the successful execution of sophisticated Paid Media strategies (Search, Social, etc.).
  • Spend considerable time (approx. 30-40%) overseeing and analysing platform performance to guide optimisation and strategy.
  • Build strong client relationships, confidently communicating performance, strategy, and insights directly.
  • Potentially contribute to new business pitches and strategic proposals.
  • Lead a team, mentoring and developing talent within the agency.
  • Champion best practices within Paid Media, staying across platform developments and opportunities.

This Role Is For You If:

  • You possess deep expertise in Paid Media platforms (Google Ads, Paid Social etc.) and believe staying connected to them is vital for effective strategy.
  • You are a strategic thinker capable of managing a client portfolio and driving growth.
  • You are comfortable acting as a senior client lead and communicating with authority.
  • You are an experienced Senior Manager looking for a Director role or an existing Director seeking a hands-on leadership challenge.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy mentoring others.

It’s Not For You If:

  • You view Director roles as purely strategic and disconnected from platform execution and analysis.
  • You prefer managing from a distance rather than being involved in platform oversight.
  • You aren’t comfortable across both Paid Search and Paid Social concepts.
  • You prefer large, siloed teams over a more integrated, hands-on agency structure.
