Nordic Retail Controller – Stockholm

Do you have experience in retail controlling? And do you want to work as Nordic retail controller in a fast-growing distributor within Beauty? Then you may be the right match to our growing team.

We are expanding our business and is looking for a Nordic retail controller to join our team. We are looking for a skilled individual to develop Nordic tools supporting our commercial teams. You will provide critical insights to divisional management and Finance business partner to drive retailer contributions and ensure targets are met. Proactively engage with the teams internally to monitor daily developments and optimize performance.

You are a collaborative team player with a strong passion for process improvement. You’re not afraid to voice your opinions and say no when you identify opportunities for improvement. Your proactive and curious nature will drive continuous enhancement and contribute to our team’s success.

 

The responsibilities and tasks you will perform to be successful are:

  • To control all costs down to retailer contribution – Secure compliance with “Nordic envelopes”
  • Monitor GP% development and follow up (daily)
  • Proactively support sales and KAM team in their daily work
  • Take initiatives for further improve ways of working and net sales/cost control
  • Approve and validate the effect on all changes to retailer agreements
  • By weekly sales FC
  • Monthly accruals for retailer contribution level
  • To secure proper controlling of campaigns
  • Stock level analyses at the retailers
  • To setup and maintain retailer rebates
  • Right hand for the Chief Commercial officer (CCO)

 

What we expect from you to be successful in the job:

  • Relevant education at Bachelor or Master level
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant business experience – Know-how in the beauty business or FMCG is an advantage
  • Experience in retailer controlling/business controlling
  • Digital capabilities and an advanced user of Microsoft office (especially Excel) and analysis/reporting tool like Power BI
  • Solid and trustworthy with an analytical and commercial mind set
  • English and at least one Scandinavian language – written and verbal proficiency
