About the Job:

We’re looking for a National Head to lead our client shipyards across the country. In this role, you’ll oversee business development, ensure profitability, and manage internal and external affairs. Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Strategically developing and directing business opportunities within the BU to realize the company’s full potential.
  • Overseeing the profitability of the shipyards’ operations.
  • Managing both internal and external affairs of the company.
  • Managing supply chains, monitoring budgets, and developing strategies.
  • Implementing best practices to optimize shipbuilding processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and safety protocols.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conducting market analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the shipyards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed nautical architect, licensed mechanical engineer, or licensed marine engineer.
  • At least 15 years of experience as an operations manager within the shipyard and maritime industries.
  • Familiarity with shipyard equipment, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Deep understanding of shipbuilding processes, including construction, repair, and maintenance.
  • With a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale shipbuilding projects and operations.
  • Have a strong background in maritime operations, shipyard operations, and a deep understanding of shipbuilding and shipwrecking procedures, techniques, and processes, including construction and occupational health and safety.
  • Knowledgeable in Maritime Industry Authority in the Philippines (MARINA) shipbuilding and repair processes, procedures, certifications, and registrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in maritime or business management.
