With expertise in space-based detection, tracking, identification, and monitoring, Digantara provides comprehensive domain awareness across regimes, allowing end users to have actionable intelligence on a single platform. At the core of its infrastructure lies a sophisticated integration of hardware and software capabilities aligned with the key principles of situational awareness: perception (data collection), comprehension (data processing), and prediction (analytics). This holistic approach empowers Digantara to monitor all Resident Space Objects (RSOs) in orbit, fostering comprehensive domain awareness.

We are hiring a Head of Talent Acquisition – Global to scale our world-class team across India, the US, and other strategic locations. This role is about building from first principles—architecting a global hiring strategy, closing top-tier candidates across engineering, aerospace, policy, and commercial functions, and becoming the strongest ambassador of Digantara’s vision to protect the orbital commons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global talent acquisition function across technical, scientific, policy, and commercial verticals.
  • Drive the full hiring lifecycle—from strategic workforce planning to closing top-tier global talent.
  • Build and nurture a distributed team of recruiters and sourcers aligned with business needs.
  • Craft a compelling employer value proposition for international markets—tailored to engineers, researchers, and operators across time zones.
  • Partner closely with founders and senior leadership to identify, engage, and onboard high-impact leaders and specialists.
  • Represent Digantara at global talent forums, conferences, and academic/industry engagements.
  • Build processes for cross-border recruitment, immigration, and remote onboarding.
  • Establish and track key recruitment KPIs and refine hiring systems for scalability and consistency.
  • Ensure every candidate experience reflects Digantara’s core values and future-forward vision.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, with at least 2+ years in a global or regional leadership capacity.
  • Experience scaling teams internationally—especially in the US, EU, or APAC regions.
  • Excellent storytelling skills—you can articulate the why behind the what, and sell roles with clarity and conviction.
  • Hands-on experience in hiring across hardware, software, aerospace, AI/ML, or strategic domains.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment operations, compliance, and sourcing in global talent markets.
  • Analytical mindset—data-driven with a strong sense of candidate-market fit.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Prior experience in space-tech, defense, high-performance R&D, or dual-use technology startups.
  • Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with global immigration policies, particularly US (H1B, O-1), EU, and India.
  • Personal passion for space, national security, or sustainability.
