Polestar Sweden is looking for a dynamic executive with strong commercial experience to turn that experience into a thriving, fast-paced sales organization.

This position is located at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden, with expectations for travel to meet with partners in the market. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What You’ll Do

  • Lead, develop and deliver the company’s sales activities.
  • Own Polestars’ sales performance; achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales- and profitability targets.
  • Cultivate the day-to-day relationship with Space Partners by steering the operation towards commercial- and customer relationship KPI´s and targets.
  • Leverage insights and strategic discussions with key external and internal stakeholders on market opportunities and developments.
  • Cooperate with the Operations team to ensure balance flow of production, variant mix, and inventory.
  • Manage the fleet team to ensure an optimal sales mix within the corporate channel.
  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Managers within your market.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of sales reports, including a sales development plan to address any under-performance.
  • Part of the Swedish management team.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience in a sales role with preferably a bachelor’s degree in business
  • You are driven, committed, and have experience driving commerce in the automotive industry
  • Proven leader with experience at an automotive OEM, retail experience a plus.
  • Your experience hasn’t made you complacent. You are hands on, hardworking, and a demonstrated leader who puts their expertise to work
  • Extensive knowledge of sales programs in traditional, digital and social landscapes.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Project management skills: ability to effectively manage many tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to hold trust and accountability with external partners
  • Excellent oratory capabilities and experience effectively communicating key messages to a live audience
  • Passion and enthusiasm for cars, technology, and new trends
  • Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written
