About the Opportunity – Be Our Sales Trailblazer!

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be instrumental in establishing our sales function. This is a true “player/manager” role where your initial focus will be on generating pipeline, building brand awareness, and closing deals. You’ll also take immediate ownership of hiring, training, and onboarding the first junior sales team member, setting the stage for future expansion.

This role demands someone who thrives in a dynamic, early-stage start-up environment with minimal existing sales infrastructure. You must be comfortable with ambiguity, a proactive problem-solver, and possess a hands-on approach to all aspects of the sales journey.

Your Mission

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Drive significant brand and product awareness in target markets.
  • Secure initial key client wins and achieve revenue targets.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach new sales talent.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business through various outreach methods.
  • Market Development: Collaborate on initial brand and product awareness initiatives.
  • Sales Execution: Engage with stakeholders to present their value proposition and close deals.
  • Team Building (Early Stage): Take immediate responsibility for hiring and onboarding the first junior salesperson.
  • Process Contribution: Help establish foundational sales processes and best practices.
  • Client Success: Ensure smooth onboarding and build strong client relationships.
  • Market Insights: Gather and share valuable market feedback.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of their innovative platform.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a direct sales role, ideally within a B2B SaaS, Healthcare, or Pharma environment.
  • A strong grasp of the sales process and pipeline management.
  • A track record of successfully generating new business and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven, and highly organized approach.
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving start-up setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.

  • Experience selling into the healthcare sector.
  • Experience in an early-stage start-up environment.
