How you will make an impact

You will belong in an organization with over 140 years of heritage as a European cooperative, being a strong leader requires a mindset where you can work across all business units and navigate in a matrix organization, it also requires you to be a team player, where you see the value of teamwork and collaboration

• You have a rich experience and understanding of the Philippine Retail landscape and will develop a clear and long-term retail strategy that supports Arla Foods’ vision and drive yearly implementation plans that is measurable
• You will oversee the entire Retail team’s efficient and effective management of key and regional accounts, including inventory management and visual merchandising, ensuring alignment with forecasts and customer needs
• You will proactively collaborate with customers to understand their needs and align operations to build and maintain Arla Foods strategic partnership with them, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty

• You will effectively manage allocated budgets ensuring operations and retail initiatives are within financial targets, while supporting negotiations with retailers, buyers, vendors and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and service quality
• You are a strategic and authentic leader who understands and acknowledges that you can only be as strong as your team – you put them first – you support, guide and mentor them when needed, but most importantly, you empower them to reach their fullest potential!

The Head of Retail will be part of Arla Foods’ leadership team and will report directly to the Managing Director.

What will make you successful

• You have at least 10 years of strategic leadership experience in Retail, in an FMCG company, preferably from an international dairy background
• You have an excellent record in managing retail operations and thrive in developing stake-holder relations
• You are proactive in responding to market trends, consumer and shopper behavior
• You an inspiring leader and demonstrates exceptional collaboration and communications skills
• You are organized, results-driven, thrives in a dynamic work environment, able to create sound decisions and demonstrates ownership
• You can do thorough data analysis and confidently communicate results and insights for action planning
