Your new role…

As the Head of Security and Infrastructure, you’ll drive rapid growth while ensuring sustainability and security. Reporting directly to the Technology Director, you’ll operate at the highest levels of our organisation, playing a crucial role in maturing the technology function and shaping the evolving tech landscape.

You will also leverage VMWare-based private cloud and multiple Azure instances. With their strategic shift towards a comprehensive move to Azure, expertise in both platforms is essential.

They are known for their consultative approach and challenge clients on design decisions to balance security, resilience, performance, and cost effectively. In this role, you’ll lead a team comprising an infrastructure lead, an end-user devices manager, and a tech data lead, with the goal of eventually stepping into the CTO position within 2-3 years.

About You…

To excel in this role, you’ll need to bring hands-on experience and proven expertise in infrastructure and security. You should demonstrate a strong background in managing private cloud and Azure solutions, with a solid grasp of Microsoft tech stacks. Your ability to lead and drive strategic improvements within a small team will be crucial.

You’ll need to show a track record of building trusted relationships with clients, coupled with high energy and a passion for delivering the best outcomes. Your skills should include excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to present effectively. Attention to detail and the capability to work independently will be key to your success
