Head of Digital Marketing required in Johannesburg.

We are looking for a leader to manage the development and execution of comprehensive digital strategies, manage a team, oversee budgets, and drive revenue growth through various online channels, while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing the overall digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy, as well as unity between digital channels.
  • Overseeing the execution of digital marketing campaigns including SEO, PPC, email, and social media.
  • Leading and mentoring the digital marketing team to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Managing and allocating the digital marketing budget across departments, ensuring resource is effectively allocated to maximise return on investment.
  • Conducting regular market and competitor research to identify trends and strategies to inform future digital activity.
  • Tracking and reporting on KPIs across digital platforms to ensure return on investment is being achieved, and making subsequent informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Marketing skills with a thorough understanding of Digital Strategy.
  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Lead Generation.
  • Experience with Web Analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, with proven experience in effectively managing and motivating a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
