Are you a seasoned leader with extensive experience in asset management or brokerage services? We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Asset Management to lead our asset management division. This is an exciting opportunity to join our project and make a significant impact on our investment strategies and client outcomes.

What you will be doing?

As the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and eventually also overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and performance of the Asset Management division. You will manage a team of portfolio managers, risk analysts, IT and operations specialists, ensuring that our clients receive outstanding investment solutions and exceptional service. Your leadership will directly contribute to the bank’s overall financial success, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Asset Management team, ensuring alignment with the bank’s broader goals and vision.
• Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of client assets, ensuring strong performance, optimal risk-adjusted returns, and client satisfaction.
• Investment Strategy & Innovation: Lead the development and implementation of innovative investment strategies across asset classes, while keeping up with market trends and economic forecasts.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure the team adheres to regulatory requirements, risk management protocols, and internal policies. Mitigate risk while delivering superior returns.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and other stakeholders. Provide clear, insightful communication and regular updates on portfolio performance.
• Team Development: Build and manage a high-performing team of investment professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and performance excellence.
• Financial Performance: Oversee the financial performance of the Asset Management division, ensuring profitability, efficient cost management, and growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, other business units, and stakeholders across the bank to ensure a seamless delivery of financial products and services to clients.

Skills you should have

• Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required. An MBA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management or investment management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a team or department.
• Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of international financial markets, investment products, asset allocation, and portfolio management. Experience in managing both traditional and alternative assets is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive results. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Client-Facing Experience: Extensive experience in client relationship management, particularly with affluent clients and high-net-worth individuals.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards governing asset management and financial services.
• Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex investment strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
