Position Overview:

The Head of Brand & Global Consumer Public Relations will be responsible for leading and expanding the Consumer PR division globally, with the primary focus being North America.

This role demands a dynamic leader who curates breakthrough brand strategies, demonstrates thought leadership, loves to be “in the room” winning new business, and fostering seamless collaboration across all business units within the agency.

The position will report to the President of of our client company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership/Positioning : Serve as a key spokesperson for the Business Unit, contributing insightful perspectives on industry trends and consumer PR practices and showcasing how our client differs in the industry.
  • Client Service : Must have a strong track record of solidifying and growing blue-chip brands because of outstanding thinking, creating, and implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration : Work closely with various departments within our client company to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and service delivery that aligns with the agency’s overall objectives.
  • Team Leadership/Management : Helping to grow, inspire, mentor, and develop talent in conjunction with EVP’s for ~50 employees
  • New Business Development : Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow the consumer PR portfolio, employing innovative strategies to attract and retain high-value clients.

Key Qualifications:

  • 15 years of progressive, current leadership experience in the PR Agency space
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and direct a diverse team.
  • Comfortable organizational Thought-Leader who can bring a high-energy dynamic
  • Excellent communication, both for internal coordination and external representation.
  • Strategic mindset, adept at both planning and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of how the media ecosystem has developed and how strategy and creativity intertwine with that.
  • Extensive experience in consumer-focused campaigns and the modern media ecosystem
  • Proven track record of excellence, not just good accomplishments.
