Global Account Director

 

As the Sales Director, you will have deep understanding of the assigned businesses, go-to-market strategy, competitive landscape and overall market environment. You will build and implement the company’s strategy, lead the team directly and through your influence as well as develop deep relationships to position teh company as the memory and storage partner of choice!

In this role, you’ll have ownership of and accountability for general business management and development, support enabling activities, design-in, and NPI sourcing, as well as securing production level OEM business for direct procurement. You will deliver revenue to Sales Plan, while signaling critical needs and forecast demands to the supporting business units and other partners in the organization!

  1. Build a strategy and implementing a comprehensive account plan: through collaboration with BU counterparts, the FAE team, executives and others within the organization; develop an outstanding strategy to drive tighter partnership and share gains.
  2. Lead customer relationships to establish broad and deep engagements.
  3. Develop and run new design activity to achieve strategic account goals and facilitate revenue pipeline
  4. Communicate routinely and proactively with internal teams to ensure that the company is on track to achieve defined objectives.
  5. Build transparency to performance and holds team members accountable for their performance.
  6. Negotiate pricing and key terms of sale, facilitate customer forecast, lead customer PO placement and open order backlog, secure supply allocation required
  7. Understand customer supply chain, critical end markets and channels
  8. Identify and detail customer technical and business opportunities to define supporting proposals and strategy for engagement across the customer supply chain on a global scale

 

Qualifications and Education:

  1. BS degree in Engineering and MBA preferred
  2. 10 or more years related sales experience
  3. A proven record of delivering results in a sophisticated, constantly evolving semiconductor industry
  4. Extensive experience in sales in the Storage (NAND) and DRAM marketplace, with a strong understanding of ecosystem dependencies and sales processes
  5. Strong product knowledge in applications, use cases and workloads for customer platforms
  6. Ability to develop sales strategies, taking into consideration customer and company perspectives
  7. Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  8. Understanding of competitive dynamics and strategies of key industry players; technical and other differentiated capabilities required to win in the marketplace
  9. The ability to apply broad knowledge to tackle problems, drive for results and meet deadlines
  10. Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  11. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  12. Proficiency in Salesforce.com
