A recruiter is seeking Financial Controller (Hospitality) in Multiple Locations

Responsibilities: 

1. Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance Department.
2. Ensure compliance with statutory authorities and audit requirements.
3. Maintain the integrity of the accounting system (software), ensuring continuous effectiveness and operation.
4. Ensure compliance with all taxation and legislative requirements.
5. Analyze business performance and results, providing feedback to Senior Management.
6. Track and monitor revenue for accuracy, verifying it against sub-ledger reports monthly.
7. Coordinate and prepare annual budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets.
8. Ensure accurate preparation and reporting of monthly financial results within Company deadlines.
9. Provide assistance or direction to managers in budget preparation when needed.
10. Monitor and accurately account for all company assets.
11. Ensure timely completion of monthly group and payroll tax by the accounts department.
12. Take necessary steps to achieve workplace harmony within the organization.
13. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accountancy, or equivalent accounting qualification.
2. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a financial managerial role, with strong people management skills, preferably within the Hospitality industry.
3. Profound understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of collaborating across departments and influencing stakeholders of all levels.
5. Meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy, timeliness, and integrity.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adept at adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
7. Malaysian nationality is preferred.
8. Willingness to work in Tioman Island or Mahe Island.
