About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Marketing and Communications to play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing brand development, ensuring effective outreach to increase awareness of multiple sclerosis and the role of the Society, and leading the strategic marketing direction. This includes maintaining the Society’s voice, developing and implementing marketing plans, and managing a team to support the organization’s goals. The EVP will also be tasked with infusing diversity, equity, and inclusion into all marketing and communications activities, as well as fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years’ of management-level experience in marketing, public relations, or related fields, with a proven track record in brand development and digital marketing. The role requires a leader with strong business acumen, organizational leadership experience, and a history of data-informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a leadership style that is open to innovation, creativity, and inclusiveness, and will be adept at balancing strategic and operational management. A commitment to the values of the Society, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, is essential. The EVP will be expected to work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, contribute to the Society’s strategic planning, and ensure the professional development of their team.
