What You Will Do

• Spearhead the implementation of procurement, supply chain, and ERP (SAP/Oracle) solutions for high-profile retail clients. Ensure successful delivery of projects in line with client requirements and industry standards.
• Design and develop retail processes around value propositions, customer preferences, and supply chain optimization. Establish retail networks and supply chains, support merchandise procurement, and assist in setting up and stocking stores.
• Act as the primary consultant for retail clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored technology solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of the retail buying process, including article master management, terms of trade, pricing conditions, and India-specific invoicing practices.
• Oversee the integration of retail technology solutions, ensuring alignment with multi-brand retail offerings and addressing the core components required for effective retail software.
• Identify and implement best practices to enhance software performance and retail operations. Continuously assess and refine processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams, providing regular updates on project progress and resolving any issues that arise.
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants and implementation specialists, fostering a collaborative environment and driving team performance.

What You Should Bring

• 12+ years of demonstrated successful career record, with over 6 years specializing in the retail domain and substantial experience in the implementation of ERP software.
• Implemented or built procurement, supply chain or ERP (SAP/Oracle) solutions for India retail clients like Reliance, Future Group, Lifestyle, Pantaloon, Carrefour
• Demonstrated experience in managing retail buying processes, including article master data, terms of trade, pricing conditions, and India-specific invoicing practices.
• Expertise in the nuances of multi-brand retail offerings and the development of associated core components required for effective retail software solutions.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive retail processes that address value propositions, customer preferences, and supply chain optimization.
• Skilled in establishing retail networks, setting up stores, and managing merchandise acquisition and stocking.
