The Director, Respiratory Therapy, provides leadership and oversight of the respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation service lines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees all respiratory care services and ensures operations meet the standards of the facility and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures in accordance with the latest clinical guidelines and standards
• Ensures employees are adequately trained and competent to provide high-quality care.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure multidisciplinary patient-centric, high-quality care
• Establishes and prioritizes operational goals.
• Ensures efficient and effective day-to-day operations by adhering to sound financial planning methods and responsible business and resource management practices and policies.
• Ensures patient satisfaction through monitoring, analyzing patient satisfaction reports, and following up on complaints.

Education:
Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy Program required; Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred

Experience:
Five years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist required; Two years supervisory experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care. Valid Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care license
