Position Overview
The Director of Product Marketing and Sales Enablement is a strategic leader responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and sales enablement initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop compelling value propositions and empower the sales team to effectively communicate and sell our products.
Key Responsibilities:Product Marketing Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with business goalsConduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and competitive landscapeDefine product positioning, messaging, and unique value propositions
Go-to-Market Planning
Work with the Demand Generation and Brand teams to develop go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releasesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment and effective executionDrive the creation of sales tools, collateral, and training materials to support product launches
Sales Enablement
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement program to equip the sales team with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to sell effectivelyCreate and deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops for the sales teamDevelop and maintain a library of sales enablement content, including playbooks, case studies, and competitive analysis
Market And Competitive Analysis
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform product marketing strategiesProvide regular updates to executive leadership on market dynamics and strategic recommendations
Pricing And Packaging
Develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue and market share while ensuring competitivenessCollaborate with finance and product management to determine optimal pricing models and packaging optionsConduct pricing analysis and provide recommendations based on market trends and competitive landscape
Performance Measurement
Establish quarterly OKRs to measure the effectiveness of product marketing and sales enablement initiativesAnalyze data and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve sales performance
Leadership And Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of product marketing and sales enablement professionalsFoster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teamCollaborate with senior leadership to align marketing and sales strategies with overall business objectives
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field8+ years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or a related role, with management experienceProven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing and enablement strategiesStrong understanding of sales processes and experience in sales enablementExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisionsStrong leadership and team management skillsExperience in B2B SaaS is a plus
