Job Description
We are looking for a Director, Pacific Rim, Lifecycle Services Asia Pacific. Reporting to the Vice President, Lifecycle Services Asia Pacific, this role can be based in our Singapore, Korea or Australia (Sydney) office.
This leadership position has a responsibility for managing Lifecycle Services business, Business Development and Delivery including post sales customer support to the Installed Base customers of Pacific Rim (SEA, Japan, Korea and SPR) for the Lifecycle Services (LCS) Segment.
You will work with the Business Managers of each sub-region in Pacific Rim, to achieve annual revenue, operating earnings, resource utilization, productivity, customer satisfaction index targets and other goals of each business. You will lead the development and execution of business strategy and programs with the Pacific Rim Business Managers and will work with the GSM RVPs/RDs and other key stakeholders to ensure the development, implementation and ongoing support of Sales strategies that support the Annual Operating Plan for LCS.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Drive Pacific Rim LCS P&Ls, develop and implement annual business strategies (BSR) and execution plans with understanding to global and AP strategy.
  • Work with Sales in assigned region to develop and execute LCS Annual Operating Plans for the region, including performance and growth (orders, shipments, growth programs, expenses, CAPEX), resource allocation, market focus plan and strategy.
  • Responsible for development and execution of application teams; channel strategy, growth goals, target market, applications, customers, technologies, pricing strategies, main competencies and programs
  • Provide strategic insight and subject matter expertise to sales organization and other stakeholders and take an active role in joint sales calls and large account presentations, proposal management.
  • Ensure goal understanding and collaboration between BU and Sales, Industry, OEM, Market Access, Contracts and Marketing teams.
  • Responsible for strategic organization planning, management and development of team including hiring, retention, performance review, coaching and development.
  • Provide market intelligence on PAM, market share, product positioning, commercial positioning and competitor information
  • Work as a member of the Asia Pacific LCS leadership team and participate in cross regional projects / best practices sharing.
  • Work with all Business Managers of Sub-regions within Pacific Rim to lead the AP LCS business strategy, growth and teams.
  • Deliver great customer experience
  • Provide coaching to team, develop technical, business and leadership competency; develop future leaders and retain top talent.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT or related disciplines.
  • 15years’ experience in sales, business management or commercial preferably in automation/software industry with at least 6 years’ experience in General Management and P&L management.
  • Experience managing matrix reporting teams across different regions
The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
  • MBA or equivalent
  • P&L competency with good experience managing complex P&L
  • Lead change & culture transformation and managing change
  • Extensive knowledge in Pacific Rim market and automation industry
  • Highly collaborative, proficient to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Customer focus, innovative, drive value and sustainable growth to customers
  • Intermediate level of expertise in managing P&L and general accounting principles.
  • Basic understanding of all RA products.
