Work Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Here is what you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years successfully leading and implementing HR practices
  • 5+ years in leading successful teams
  • 5+ years leading a company culture & recognition programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and interviewing skills
  • Ability to influence those who do not report to him or her
  • Ability to relate and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Interpersonal skill and good instincts regarding people
  • High sense of urgency and responsiveness to internal customers
  • Health care experience preferred
  • Multi-Unit experience required

A Day in the Life of a Director of Human Resources:

  • Provide services and support for the following areas:
    • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
    • Serve as the consultant and business partner to the Executive Team, VPs, Directors, and people leaders on all matters related to team members.
    • Lead company initiative, process and messaging around Performance Review process and goals process.
    • Ensure appropriate staffing by making sure we have all the “Right People in the Right Place and the Right Time” in all home office leadership roles by conducting job fit analysis for roles Director and above.
    • Partner and serve as consultant with leaders on Performance Management issues, Re-Organizations, Engagement, Succession Planning, Promotions, Market Adjustments.
    • Provide guidance in the development of position requisitions, offers, job descriptions and job changes requiring updates position control numbers.
    • Partner appropriately with the Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development teams to make sure the needs of the home office teams are properly met. Ensure that all new team members are successfully on boarded and have a training and orientation plan in place.
    • Lead culture initiative supporting DEI efforts such as Team Solis and Outreach efforts such Solis non-profits 501c3, Peace Fund, Scholarship Fund and HOPE Program.
    • Lead recognition programs such as Solis On-Line Recognition, Share Your Story, Promise Awards, New Hire Gifts, Team Week, Tech Week, Home Office themed luncheons.
    • Oversee Employee Health Department and Workers Compensation by ensuring department is compliant with Employee Health regulations and documentation.
    • Serve as the HR communications leader initiating company wide communications related to Welcome to Solis. Monthly HR Updates, HR initiatives and the HR Inbox.
    • Be available to answer questions for field team members or facilitate putting them in touch with the right support center contact. (Being responsive to e-mails and phone calls is very important in this role).
    • Work closely with home office leadership to identify future leaders via Talent Assessments and Organizational Reviews. Provide assistance in development plans to prepare high potential team members for promotion and additional responsibilities.

    • Participate and lead in identifying needs for new or updated HR policies and practices. Participate in the development and communication of HR policies and practices.

    • Conduct any team member investigations as necessary. Investigate, resolve and report on any calls made to the confidential hotline.

    • Conduct training sessions and communication meetings such as leadership training, employee orientation, etc. as needed.

    • Manage operational processes such as ordering Labor Law Posters, OIG reporting, severance management, Playbook administration, and serve as HR representative for Policy Committee.

    • Travel to meetings and areas for which the position has geographic responsibility both regionally and nationally.

    • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief People and Culture Officer.
