About The Role
The Healthcare Contracting and Negotiating Director is a key leader responsible for managing payer and vendor contract negotiations across Pinnacle Fertility’s growing network. This role ensures favorable contract terms, oversees reimbursement strategies, and maintains strong relationships with healthcare partners and third-party payers. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge and strong negotiation skills to support Pinnacle’s mission of expanding access to high-quality fertility care.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Scottsdale, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage negotiations with health insurance payers, vendors, and third-party administrators to secure favorable contract terms and reimbursement rates.
- Evaluate and analyze payer contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, operations, and clinic leadership to align on contracting strategies and business objectives.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of healthcare reimbursement trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory updates impacting fertility services.
- Develop and present contracting proposals and negotiation outcomes to executive leadership.
- Manage contract implementation processes and ensure compliance with terms and deliverables.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with payer representatives and partners.
- Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in healthcare contracting, payer negotiations, or managed care operations.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement structures and payer landscapes
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $100,000 – $140,000.00 annually (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
