ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Director of Global Compensation, you will serve a critical role in our business, driving the strategy of Ralliant’s compensation offerings across a globally diverse workforce, designed to advance business objectives while reinforcing our Employee Value Proposition – For You. You will be a strategic leader responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive compensation programs that align with Ralliant’s business objectives and ensure competitiveness in the global talent market. You will collaborate with senior leaders, HR partners, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure that our global compensation programs enable our talent strategy, drive a high-performance culture, and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Global Compensation Strategy:
- Designs and develops a forward-looking global compensation philosophy & strategy that aligns with Ralliant’s overall business strategy and supports its growth initiatives.
- Partners with senior leadership to ensure compensation programs support organizational goals and talent strategy.
Global Program Management:
- Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including the annual merit program
- Design and manage competitive salary structures and global short-term incentive programs
- Develop & oversee job evaluation processes to classify market-aligned salary grades
- Benchmark company compensation against industry peers and provide recommendations as needed
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR functions, Legal, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for total rewards initiatives.
- Collaborates with business HR leaders to integrate the voice of operating companies into the design and development of global programs, ensuring they contribute to Ralliant’s overall competitive positioning across its diverse business portfolio.
- Deliver expert compensation consultation and develop proposals and presentations about compensation programs (including market data and appropriate pay levels/targets) to educate and influence
- Partner with the Analytics team to generate reports that provide insights to help senior leaders and HR partners assess compensation trends that affect engagement, career growth, retention and performance
Performance Management:
- Collaborates with HR teams to integrate compensation programs with performance management systems, fostering a culture of performance and recognition.
- Provides guidance on salary planning, promotions, and adjustments based on individual and company performance.
Market Intelligence & Vendor Management:
- Determines best-in-class market research vendors and tools for compensation benchmarking to ensure that Ralliant’s compensation programs remain competitive
- Utilizes data analytics and benchmarking tools to assess the effectiveness of Ralliant’s compensation programs and provide insights to leadership.
- Manage and maintain compensation technology, including salary aggregator platform
- Guide compensation configuration within HCM alongside the HRIS team
Employee Communication and Engagement:
- Develops and implements effective communication strategies to educate employees about the value of their total rewards package and enhance overall employee engagement.
- Collaborates with internal communication teams to ensure consistent and clear messaging.
Leadership:
- Lead a global team of compensation professionals focused on providing expertise, guidance and support to our businesses to design, deliver and operationalize programs
- Support the Segment and Enterprise leadership level reporting
- Serve on cross-functional teams as the GPO/BDO for compensation
- Key member of the Total Rewards Leadership Team
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing compensation programs in a complex, global organization with multiple operating companies or business units.
- In-depth knowledge of global compensation practices, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to complete well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
- English language proficiency.

- Advanced degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP)
