Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer will assist in managing the operations and administration that relate to the investment advisory business. Responsible for the timely production of product, management and cost controls, ensuring execution of strategy, you will manage the operations and administration teams and deliver results day in and day out, thus allowing the CEO to focus on matters related to investment research & analysis, business policy and strategy. Requirements:

• Possess 4 to 5 years’ experience in managing the operations and administration of a fast-paced investment, publishing, manufacturing, or IT organisation and a strong university degree in any discipline. Candidates with experience as Investment or Business Analysts seeking a switch in career are also encouraged to apply.
• The ability to effectively build organisation and staff capacity, manage and develop a top-notch workforce and the processes that ensure the company’s operations run smoothly is vital.
• As a high-energy, results-oriented person, you enjoy working hard and are able to handle multiple priorities and people at many levels; able to act and react as necessary, even if limited information is available; not afraid to take charge of a situation; and can overcome resistance to leadership.
• You must be fluent in English. A strong knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous.
• While based in Kuala Lumpur, occasional travelling to Singapore will be required.
