Job Description

A company is looking for an experienced Cloud leader to join a team in support of a portfolio of DoD cloud modernization and engineering projects. This individual will provide thought leadership and strategic direction to our program and government leadership, as well as play an active role in the day to day building, troubleshooting, and progress of our cloud projects. The incoming candidate must be comfortable working high level strategy and design, but not be afraid to work on ground-level networking and infrastructure issues when need be.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

-Providing strategic direction for on-prem solutions and migrations in multi-cloud infrastructures

-Using background in cloud security options and solutions to guide customers and create secure solutions for mission critical data

-Lead meetings across internal and external stakeholders and provide technical direction for large projects ($50-150m)

Hourly: 93-100/hr

Salary: 200,000-220,000

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of experience

-Experience solutioning and overseeing builds of complex AWS based solutions

-Strong working background in one of the following areas (software development, networking, or infrastructure/devops engineering)

-Experience deploying and managing containerized applications and solutions

-Working knowledge of choosing and designing appropriate zero-trust solutions

-Ability to script/code in one of the following languages: python, bash, powershell, javascript

-Strong working knowledge of Linux CLI and ability to navigate around linux-based environments -CKA, AWS, CISSP, or other related certifications null
