Automotive Sales Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and secure new client accounts through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship building
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales
  • Negotiate terms, close new business opportunities, and ensure profitability and margin objectives are achieved
  • Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • ⁠Provide leadership to the sales and business development teams, mentoring and supporting performance achievement
  • Collaborate closely with technical and service teams to ensure customer expectations and delivery standards are consistently met
  • Streamline and optimize operation service processes
  • Lead initiatives in digital transformation, ensuring effective user testing and feedback implementation
  • Integrate and harmonize business processes to enhance operational efficiency across departments
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and integration to ensure seamless operational alignment

Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a workshop, automotive service, or sales/operations role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Prior experience in managing workshop operations or business development in the automotive industry is highly preferred
  • Good understanding of workshop processes, parts and service workflows, and customer service standard
  • Knowledge of local automotive market, customer expectations, and competitor offering
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle client relationships and internal team communication
  • Able to provide training and support to junior staff to meet
  • Proactive mindset in identifying new sales leads, building customer relationships, and converting prospects
  • Experience in achieving sales KPIs and negotiating service packages or contracts
