Job Summary

Introba is seeking a Director of Commissioning in our Kansas City location. The Commissioning Leader will be responsible for developing and nurturing a deep technical expertise in a vertical market, category, business segment or discipline and represents the discipline area expertise in new business and marketing efforts to manage and grow the commissioning business for Introba.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and nurtures a deep technical expertise in a vertical market, category, business segment or discipline and represents the Building and Systems Commissioning area expertise in new business and marketing efforts.
  • Identifies industry trends and new skill sets to respond to the changes within the industry and client requirements specific to commissioning services and interfaces regularly with clients and client stakeholders to manage the commissioning process.
  • Attends relevant conferences, networks with industry leaders, and seeks appropriate speaking opportunities at national, regional and local events.
  • Leads, motivates, develops, and build a team of committed commissioning professionals to optimize the business and enhances the organization’s profile and reach across the industry to ensure industry-wide and clients’ recognition.
  • Coordination with firmwide Sector and Business Unit leaders related to business development efforts to align with core goals and required certifications. The Commissioning Leader shall make strategic hires; training and assignments to meet the specified goals.
  • Practical alignment with company policies, which include implementation of new and revisions to current policies and ensures Commissioning consulting activities, processes and technical standards are effectively implemented.
  • Empowers the commissioning professionals to excel and be passionate about their careers.
  • Individual goal setting for professional career advancement for members of the Commissioning team and is committed to repeatable positive outcomes on projects through proper staff assignment which include attention to timing and deliverables of the projects.
  • Ensures consistency in Commissioning activities and deliverables quality, budgetary constraints and expectations and that appropriate project and control mechanisms are developed and administered and had fiscal accountability for setting salary boundaries for each job position classification within the Commissioning team, in collaboration with Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Commissioning Authority certification from an accredited organization.
  • Professional Engineering license preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum combined 10 years of experience in at least two of the following: facility design, construction, operation, or related field.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
