Job title: Associate financial controller (Poland compliance)

We invite you to become the Associate Financial Controller of the premix site of Poland and join the EMEA Finance team. Our team is embarking on an exciting journey towards achieving ambitious goals, and we are seeking a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and innovation.
You will have the opportunity to support as the Poland compliance expert for the premix site in Niepruszewo, Poland. Furthermore, you will be supporting the financial controller with the finance actuals, closing and reporting activities, all while building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with CIT, WHT, property tax and preparation of tax returns,
- Statistical and national bank reporting,
- Financial statements preparation,
- Support in purchase to pay process,
- Fixed assets accounting,
- Participation in projects to ensure compliance with tax law (e.g. KSeF),
- Develop internal tax and accounting procedures and control tools, being proactive and eager to improve existing processes within finance and with different functions,
- Overseeing data correctness in the system and close cooperation with shared service center of dsm-firmenich,
- Cooperation with tax authorities and external auditor, ensuring factual and lawful transfer of information,
- Supporting various business groups in dsm-firmenich – both corporate structures and operational team,
- Driving personal development in tax, finance skills, as well as in business knowledge.
You bring
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting and tax area,
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting,
- Strong knowledge and experience in tax area: CIT, WHT, property tax,
- Fluent English (min. B2 level),
- Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO,
- Strong Excel skills,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams,
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement changes.
