About This Role

Audible, an Amazon company at the forefront of audio entertainment innovation, is seeking a media professional to support the Head of Global Brand Media in driving global brand media projects and initiatives to increase brand love, consideration and awareness of Audible.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong media background with a firm understanding of what best in class media strategy and execution looks like and the processes to achieve this, they will be a great collaborator, process orientated with a global mindset. The Associate Director, Global Awareness Media will work alongside the regional media leads for North America, APAC and Europe to drive global synergy across key briefs, projects and processes including but not limited to global campaign briefings, global awareness media process, global testing plans/frameworks and global partnership interactions. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with the ability to form relationships quickly both internally and externally.

As the Associate Director, Global Awareness Media you will…

  • Work closely with the Head of Global Brand Media and Wavemaker to develop a cohesive media strategy/framework for global content and brand campaigns. This should be fit for purpose for local marketplaces with strong collaboration with regional leads
  • Lead global partner briefings alongside Wavemaker for key global content and brand campaigns
  • Develop cohesive presentations to provide a global overview of media tactics for global campaigns for leadership
  • Take on special projects such as application of new segmentation to Awareness Media
  • Develop global templates and timelines for awareness media planning clearly defining global and local points of connection
  • Assist with streamlining of information flow and deliverables across marketplaces for key global media campaigns
  • Drive cross marketplace collaboration and sharing of ideas
  • Drive global awareness media innovation
  • Develop a process for global insight sharing between WM, Audible and select media partners
  • Proactively develop mechanisms to provide better visibility to media execution and campaign wins across marketplaces
  • Drive collaboration with creative teams to ensure creative and media synergy
  • Own the global awareness testing calendar alongside analytics with input from regional leads
  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase our knowledge of Awareness media impacts

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in paid media/marketing
  • Experience with media strategy and the implementation process
  • Experience in brief writing
  • Experience working across multiple marketplaces
  • Experience with media measurement frameworks
  • Experience working cross functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Experience working with agency partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entertainment or audio industry experience
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capability
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellence in cross-functional collaboration
  • Deep understanding of paid media principles
  • Passion for audio entertainment and storytelling
