We are currently looking for an Associate Director/Director to lead our Deal Execution function within our Investment Team and to join an Australian based financial services company with a focus on Australasian private debt investments and funds management.

Job Requirements

• 7+ years’ relevant experience in direct lending at commercial banks, non-bank lenders, investment banks or debt advisory firms (corporate lending, asset-backed loans or securitisations)
• Transaction experience across debt, equity and venture capital would be viewed favourably.
• Candidates with commercial/corporate banking experience are preferred.
• Excellent credit risk analysis skills covering both qualitative and quantitative analysis including financial analysis, legal structures, valuation analysis, financial modelling skills and appropriate deal structuring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in working with new and innovative structures and solutions.
• Excellent credit submission writing skills with a proven ability to present complex concepts to both clients and stakeholders in plain English.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel with an ability to navigate through financial models, as well as other MS programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
• Excellent time and project management skills and demonstrated clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams and projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to challenge status quo and deliver continuous process and return improvement.
