Key Responsibilities
- Overall owner of all things finances in the company
- Preparing Financial Statement and notes to account in alignment with Statutory auditor. Coordinating with Statutory Auditors.
- Preparing reports, financials, and documentation for investment and fundraising.
- Scrutiny of General Ledger and Sub Ledger
- Coordinating with the Banks and other financial institutions
- Cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and optimum utilization of funds
- Coordinating with Insurance companies and brokers to ensure adequate coverage.
- Coordinating and providing data for Due Diligence
- Coordination with SAP & and other vendors for driving automation across the finance domain
- Setting up a commercial process and defining SOPs.
- Business partnering with the Supply Chain Finance team – Driving Commercial hygiene and cost efficiency.
- Business Partnering with the Sales team (E-com, Retail, Website, EBO) – Ensuring timely collections, processing of claims, and driving commercial hygiene.
- Obtaining confirmation of balance on a quarterly basis from all vendors and customers, reconciliation if any.
- Coordinating with CS and law firms for finance and regulatory compliances.
- Making sure the GST, TDS, and other taxes comply on time
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in FMCG, F&B is preferred.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and analytical Other Requirements :
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team in the coffee industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with coffee industry stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in F&B and or startup environment will be preferred.
