The Digital Security Team is tasked with the acquisition, development, deployment and maintenance of the digital information security systems and processes within St John of God Healthcare.

This role offers a unique opportunity for the right individual to play a key part in shaping the identity and governance systems (CyberArk and SailPoint). You will have the chance to make a significant impact on both the design and implementation.

The Identity and Access Manager role is a senior position that will be responsible for leading the development and operation of identity and access solutions including:

  • Ownership and management of the Identity Governance (IGA) function and solution (SailPoint).
  • Ownership and management of the Privileged Access Management (PAM) function and solution (CyberArk).
  • Development of identity and access standards for consumption by the broader DI&T team.

The Position

  • Defining a strategy and roadmap for identity and access.
  • Maintaining a current understanding of the Digital Security threat landscape for health and associated industries.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to the delivery of our key Identity Governance & Access (IGA) multi-year program; which includes the implementation of SailPoint and CyberArk platforms.
  • Assist in designing an operating model including; policies, processes and procedures for identity and access
  • Accountable for ongoing operations of SailPoint (IGA) platform including but not limited to:
  • Onboarding of new applications
  • Delivery of new features and functionality in line with the Identity strategy
  • Day-to-day operations of the platform including patching and maintenance
  • Accountable for ongoing operations of Privileged Access Management (PAM) CyberArk platform including but not limited to:
  • Onboarding of new applications and accounts
  • Delivery of new features and functionality in line with the Identity strategy
  • Day-to-day operations of the platform including patching and maintenance
  • Development of identity standards and general direction to be used by the broader Digital, Information and Technology (DI&T) team for the management of identity directories and applications
  • Providing SME to our Consulting function to support business and technology projects successfully deliver to our identity standards
  • Participating as a leader within the Digital Security team in setting objectives and creating strategies.
  • Ensuring projects, systems and work items comply with the relevant standards and policies.
  • Sourcing and negotiating rates for external contracts to fulfil work requests or project requirements in consultation with the Resource Manager.
  • As a leader in the Digital Security team, participating in the operational management of the team including prioritisation, budget management and people management.

You will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Security, or a related discipline, or at least eight years’ experience in an equivalent role. Additionally, you will possess relevant Certifications (CISSP, CISM, vendor certifications, etc.) and demonstrate experience delivering and maintaining SailPoint and CyberArk platforms in complex organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to communicate to technical and business stakeholders and possess knowledge of contemporary DevSecOps practices. High-level communication skills, including experience leading and mentoring security teams, as well as a passion for technological trends/developments in the areas of digital security, will be essential to this position.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate program management/project management experience with experience leading the implementation and maturity of an IGA (SailPoint) and PAM (CyberArk) implementation programs. Health sector experience is desirable but not essential

We can offer you.

  • Total Renumeration Package: $207,000 to $230,000 negotiable (base $185,650 to $206,278 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation)
  • Permanent, full-time opportunity working 76 hours per fortnight.
  • This position is based from our Melbourne CBD office
