- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SMSF accounting or a related field.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- A registered Tax Agent, or ability to become one (preferred not essential)
- Strong knowledge of SMSF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage competing priorities
Job ResponsibilitiesWorking from our Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra office, on a full time or part time (minimum 3 days per week) basis you will:
- Provided timely assistance, guidance and expertise with technical queries, supporting the national SMSF team in offering a high-quality service to clients.
- Support internal training activities to enhance the technical skills and knowledge for the SMSF team.
- Support the allocation of the Quality & Technical team workflows and take ownership and responsibility to complete allocated tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to ensuring the SMSF team met compliance obligations with regulatory changes
