Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve company sales and profitability goals.
- Lead the Category team in planning, organizing, and managing all commercial activities.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure optimal product assortment and inventory levels to meet consumer demand.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
- Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track commercial performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial or category management role within the retail industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
